QUEUEDROP FOR BUSINESSES

Nobody should walk out because you couldn’t tell them the wait.

Walk-ins take a place in line from their own phone, watch a live estimate, and step away until it’s nearly their turn. Your staff run the whole queue from one screen.

THE PROBLEM

A queue nobody can see costs you customers you never counted.

The walk-out, the interruption and the buzzer drawer are all the same problem wearing different clothes: the wait is invisible to everyone standing in it.

01
Walk-outs you never see
Someone opens the door, counts the chairs, and leaves. You don't get to make them an offer, and you don't find out it happened.
02
“How long?”, all day
Every answer is a guess, every guess interrupts the person mid-service, and a wrong guess is the thing the customer remembers.
03
Pagers cost money and go missing
Buzzers get walked off with, run out of charge, only work inside the shop, and cost real money to replace.
04
SMS queues make you a data handler
Collecting phone numbers to send “you're next” texts means storing personal data you never wanted and customers never enjoy giving.
THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Nobody has to choose between standing there and giving up.

What a walk-in actually does, from the counter to the chair.

01
They scan and join
A QR code on the counter opens a web page. No app to install, no account to make, no phone number to type in.
02
They see the real wait
Position and estimate appear on their own phone and update themselves as your queue moves.
03
They step away
Your waiting room empties out and the customer stays yours. They come back for the service, not for the chair.
04
They return on cue
The page tells them when to head back. You check them in at the counter and serve them on time.
WHAT IT CHANGES

One queue, and one straight answer about the wait.

Live Queue
Everyone waiting, on one screen. Call the next customer, check them in, then start, finish or skip. Pause the queue when you need a moment, or stop taking new people while you work through the ones you have.

PRIVACY FIRST
No phone numbers
Customers join on an anonymous browser session. You never collect, store or have to protect their personal details.
REMOTE JOIN
Join before arriving
Regulars can take a place in line from home and set off when the estimate says to, filling your morning earlier.
SMART ETA
Measured, not guessed
Waits are computed from who is working and how long your services actually take, not from a number somebody typed once.
NO HARDWARE
Use what you have
One browser tab at the counter replaces the buzzer drawer, the clipboard and the whiteboard.
THE BUSINESS JOURNEY

Your own portal for the shop, the staff and the queue.

Configure it once, then run every day from whatever screen is already at your counter.

01
Set up in one sitting
Add your location, your services and how long each usually takes. Print the QR code and stand it on the counter. If you need help, we can come and set it up for you, explain all the details, and get you ready.
02
Run it on the screen you own
Staff sign in to the queue on the iPad, phone or PC already at the counter. There is no hardware to buy.
03
Call, check in, or move on
Tap Call next and the customer's page tells them to head back. They get about ten minutes of grace; after that you check them in, park them, or mark a no-show.
04
Estimates that learn your pace
The first estimates use the durations you configured. Once a service has twenty completed jobs behind it, QueueDrop quotes the measured median instead.

WHAT IT COSTS

One price, one location, no per-seat maths.

Staff seats are not metered. Charging per person would punish you for putting more staff on the floor, which is exactly when a queue needs the most help — and every extra member of staff makes the estimates better, not more expensive.

Prices in Australian dollars, and only for the business — your customers never pay anything to join or use the queue. QueueDrop is in pilot, so pricing is not final — it settles once enough businesses have run real queues on it and told us what it is worth. Nobody gets billed by surprise.

BEFORE YOU SIGN UP

The questions owners ask first.

Do you offer a free trial or setup help?
Yes! You get a one-month free trial to see if QueueDrop fits your business. If you need a hand, we can come to you, set everything up, and walk your team through the details.
What do my customers have to install?
Nothing. Scanning the code opens a web page in whatever browser their phone already has. There is no app, no account and no phone number.
What hardware do I need?
A printed QR code and any device with a browser — the tablet, phone or PC already at your counter. Staff sign in to the queue there.
What happens when somebody doesn't come back?
Called customers get an arrival grace window of about ten minutes. When it runs out the entry is flagged so your staff can check them in anyway, park them, or mark them a no-show and move on.
How accurate are the wait estimates?
They start from the durations you configure. Once a service has twenty completed jobs on record, QueueDrop switches to the median it measured for that service — and for that member of staff where it has enough of their own.
What does it cost?
Nothing while QueueDrop is in pilot, then A$19 a month for one location. Pricing stays open until enough pilot businesses have told us it is right, and no pilot business is charged without hearing the price first.
Do I have to be listed publicly?
No. Your listing stays private until you finish setup and QueueDrop approves it for Discover. You can run the whole queue from a direct join link before that.
