QueueDrop
Terms of Service
What QueueDrop does, what it does not do, and what businesses and customers are each responsible for during the pilot.
Last updated 2026-09-04
These Terms govern your use of the QueueDrop software and services. QueueDrop is operated by Sk Digital (ABN 62 698 348 872), Queensland, Australia, and is currently operating as a pilot program in Australia. By using QueueDrop — whether as a business managing a queue or a customer joining one — you agree to these Terms.
1. What QueueDrop provides
- Software only: we provide the platform. We do not operate the businesses listed on it or the services they offer.
- Businesses run their own queues: each business is independently responsible for managing its queue, admitting customers, and providing the actual service.
2. Estimates, not guarantees
Any wait time or estimated start shown in QueueDrop is an estimate drawn from historical data and current queue conditions. It is not a guarantee. Conditions change quickly, and a business may reorder or delay its own queue at its discretion.
3. If you are a business
- Accuracy: you are responsible for keeping your location, opening hours, services, and prices correct and current.
- Pricing is informational: prices shown in QueueDrop are informational only. QueueDrop does not process customer payments.
- Account security: you are responsible for your staff accounts, floor PINs, and on-site join secrets.
- Loyalty programs: a loyalty program you run through QueueDrop is specific to your business. You are responsible for honouring claims and for the program complying with the law.
- Location controls: the on-site QR secret and the nearby-join radius are operational barriers, not proof of where a customer is standing. A QR code can be photographed and shared, and a device can report any location.
- Suspension: you may close your account at any time. QueueDrop may suspend access for a breach of these Terms.
4. If you are a customer
- Do not abuse, manipulate, or maliciously share queue links, join secrets, or customer tokens.
- Do not spam the join system, submit fraudulent requests, or harass staff.
- A business may mark you as a no-show, and may restrict remote joining at that business, if you repeatedly fail to arrive for a place you took.
5. Billing
QueueDrop does not process customer payments. There is no billing for businesses during the pilot, and no automated billing will begin without clear prior notice and your explicit agreement.
6. Pilot program and availability
- Features and behaviour may change, be added, or be removed during the pilot.
- QueueDrop runs on a single instance during the pilot and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Deployments and outages will interrupt live queue screens.
- There is currently no notification when your turn approaches. Keeping your ticket open is how you follow your place in the queue.
7. Support and contact
For general support, technical assistance, or business offboarding, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 2 to 3 business days. Privacy inquiries may be directed to [email protected], and security incident reports to [email protected]. QueueDrop is operated by Sk Digital (ABN 62 698 348 872), Queensland, Australia.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Subject to those statutory rights, QueueDrop is provided as a pilot service without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the service will be continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that queue wait times or estimates will be exact. Participating businesses are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of their underlying services.
9. Liability and indemnities
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sk Digital and QueueDrop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profits, lost revenue, business interruption, or data loss arising out of or in connection with the pilot service, queue inaccuracies, or service downtime. To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to supplying the software services again or the payment of AUD $100.
Each participating business agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sk Digital against any third-party claims, losses, or liabilities arising directly from that business’s operations, staff conduct, services provided to its customers, or breach of applicable law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties agree to first notify each other in writing and make reasonable, good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute informally before commencing legal proceedings (except where urgent injunctive or interlocutory relief is required).
